Bogor — Ketua Dewan Pembina sekaligus Ketua Partai Gerindra Prabowo Subianto menegaskan kepada seluruh kader Partai Gerindra agar senantiasa selalu berbuat yang terbaik untuk bangsa dan negara sebelum ajal menjemput mereka.
Hal itu ia sampaikan dalam acara Taklimat Ketua Dewan Partai Gerindra bertajuk Kompak Bergerak Berdampak yang dihelat di Padepokan Garuda Yaksa, Hambalang, Bogor, Jawa Barat, Sabtu (8/11).
Dalam taklimatnya, Prabowo mengimbau kepada semua kader Partai Gerindra yang kini telah menjabat di level eksekutif hingga Gubernur dan Bupati agar tidak takut berbuat yang terbaik untuk bangsa dan negara.
“Kita pasti menghadap, kita ga usah takut. Lebih baik kita berbuat yang terbaik. Gajah meninggal, meninggalkan gading, harimau mati meninggalkan belang, manusia mati meninggalkan nama, lebih baik kita dikenang,” tutur Prabowo.
Menurutnya lebih baik berbuat yang terbaik untuk bangsa dan negara Indonesia sejahtera hingga dikenang karena keberhasilan atas program-program kebijakan pemerintah yang berdampak ke rakyat.
“Dikenang membawa Indonesia sejahtera, dikenang memberi makan semua anak-anak, ibu hamil seluruh Indonesia,” tandasnya.
Seorang pemimpin negarawan sejati menurutnya juga harus lebih peka menghadapi keadaan bangsanya.
“Kekuasaan harus digunakan untuk menebar kebaikan, menghapus kemiskinan, dan menegakkan kedaulatan,” ujarnya.
