Raja Abdullah II dengan seragam militernya dan Prabowo dengan pakaian safari berwarna kremnya turun dari mobil secara bersamaan.
Kemudian, Prabowo dan Raja Abdullah II berbincang sebentar lalu keduanya berjalan melewati pasukan jajar kehormatan.
Selanjutnya, Raja Abdullah II memeluk hangat Prabowo dan berpamitan menaiki tangga dan masuk ke dalam pesawat diikuti para delegasinya.
Pesawat tempur juga terlihat berlalu lalang di langit bandara untuk melakukan pengamanan keberangkatan Raja Abdullah II.
Turut mendampingi Prabowo antara lain, Menteri Luar Negeri Sugiono, Menteri Pertahanan Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Menteri Sekretaris Negara Prasetyo Hadi, Sekretaris Kabinet Teddy Indra Wijaya, Kepala Badan Komunikasi Pemerintah (Bakom) Angga Raka Prabowo. Ada juga putra Prabowo Didit Hediprasetyo, dan Wakil Gubernur Jakarta Rano Karno turut mendampingi.
Kunjungan kenegaraan Raja Yordania ini merupakan kunjungan balasan atas lawatan Prabowo ke Yordania beberapa waktu lalu sekaligus untuk menyepakati sejumlah kerja sama, termasuk kerja sama pertahanan antara RI dan Kerajaan Yordania.
