Jakarta — Menjelang masa libur Natal dan Tahun Baru (Nataru) 2025, Presiden Prabowo Subianto menaruh perhatian serius terhadap kesiapan transportasi publik nasional, khususnya moda kereta api.
Prabowo memanggil Direktur Utama PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), Bobby Rasyidin, ke Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, Senin (3/11), untuk memberikan sejumlah arahan strategis guna memastikan kenyamanan dan keselamatan penumpang selama periode liburan akhir tahun.
Dalam keterangannya usai pertemuan, Bobby menyampaikan bahwa Prabowo secara khusus menugaskan PT KAI mengecek secara menyeluruh terhadap jalur-jalur kereta api yang rawan gangguan, baik karena cuaca ekstrem maupun kondisi alam.
"Menyambut Nataru, Beliau (Prabowo) memerintahkan kami mengecek secara detail daerah-daerah rawan, terutama daerah rawan banjir, daerah rawan longsor dalam hal ini,” ungkapnya.
Arahan Presiden tersebut, kata Bobby, merupakan bentuk kesiapsiagaan menghadapi lonjakan penumpang dan potensi bencana hidrometeorologi yang kerap terjadi pada akhir tahun.
Prabowo menekankan kesiapan infrastruktur transportasi harus menjadi prioritas utama, terutama pada jalur-jalur yang sering dilalui oleh masyarakat saat musim liburan.
Bobby menambahkan Prabowo menginginkan seluruh unit kerja PT KAI, termasuk anak perusahaan dan mitra transportasi publik, memperketat pemantauan lapangan untuk mengurangi risiko gangguan perjalanan.
“Beliau tegaskan juga, terutama untuk layanan kereta api Jabodetabek, karena kami melayani pelaunan KRL melalui PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia dan divisi LRT,” jelasnya.
