Bupati Wajo, H. Amran Mahmud menghadiri acara Sidang Senat Terbuka Luar Biasa Institut Agama Islam As'adiyah (IAIA) sengkang dalam rangka wisuda multi strata Dan Dies Natalis ke 56 Tahun 2020.
Pada acara yang digelar di kampus As'adiyah jalan Veteran Sengkang, Senin (12/10/2020) Bupati Wajo, H. Amran Mahmud berharap dengan Dies Natalis ke 56 menjadi momentum evaluasi kinerja selama 56 tahun berkiprah.
"Selama rentang waktu 56 tahun itu, Institut Agama Islam As'adiyah (IAIA) Sengkang telah banyak melaksanakan fungsi-fungsi akademik maupun fungsi sosial kemasyarakatan melalui Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. IAIA telah menjadi Perguruan Tinggi terdepan dalam mewujudkan layanan perguruan tinggi yang berkualitas dan akan terus mengikuti perkembangan zaman untuk menjawab tantangan di tengah masyarakat, "ujarnya.
Dilanjutkannya, sebagai perguruan tinggi Institut Agama Islam As'adiyah telah menjalankan perannya dalam menghasilkan SDM yang memiliki kemampuan dalam mengantisipasi Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Tekhnologi dunia.
Institut Agama Islam As'Adiyah (IAIA) Sengkang sebagai salah satu perguruan tinggi di Wajo mempunyai peran strategis dalam peningkatan kualitas SDM khususnya dalam pengembangan syiar Islam di tanah air.
