Hari ini senin 11 Maret 2019, Bupati Wajo menerima kunjungan silahturahmi SKK Migas Perwakilan Kalimantan & Sulawesi bersama K3 Energy Equity Epic(Sengkang) Pty.lLd. di Ruang Rapat Pimpinan.
Maksud kunjungan ini dalam rangka memberikan update informasi tahun 2018 dan rencana tahun 2019 ungkap Manager Senior Kehumasan SKK migas Sebastian Julius.
Dukungan industri hulu migas bagi pembangunan daerah meliputi dana bagi hasil migas untuk daerah,pajak daerah dan retribusi daerah,bisnis penyedia barang dan jasa lokal, tenaga kerja lokal, tanggungjawab sosial, program pengembangan masyarakat, penggunaan fasilitas penunjang ops oleh masyarakat, pasokan gas untuk pembangkit tenaga listrik, pasokan gas untuk bahan industri, pasokan gas jaringan untuk rumah tangga.
Perlu diketahui SKK berdiri tahun 1995 berproduksi tahun 1996, kontrak pertama di tahun 1995 s.d 2022 selanjutnya dilakukan perpanjangan 2022 – 2042.
Untuk penambahan pasokan gas rumah tangga, ditetapkan kepmen selanjutnya diajukan melalui direktorat infrastruktur.
Tanggung jawab sosial, dalam bentuk CSR yang saat ini sudah jalan di bidang pendidikan, bidang kesehatan, bidang ekonomi, bidang lingkungan, bidang infrastruktur, dan bantuan bencana alam
Pembeli gas Energy equity Sengkang lapangan gas kampung baru diantaranya PLN, Pertamina (city gas) 3.869 KK.
Diakhir sambutannya mengatakan Penggunaan tenaga kerja diluar Sulsel kurang lebih 14%, Lokal Wajo 46% yang bekerja di PT.Energy equity .
