Dalam upaya penegakan pendisiplinan protokol kesehatan Covid-19, Kodim 1406/Wajo menggelar Apel di Lapangan Pemda Kab. Wajo Jl. Rusa, Sengkang, Jum’at 14 Agustus 2020.
Gelar pasukan ini dihadiri Bupati Wajo H.Amran Ahmud, Wakil Bupati Wajo H.Amran,SE serta para anggota Forkopimda dan sejumlah Kepala OPD Jajaran Pemkab Wajo, Perwira dan Danramil Kodim 1406/ Wajo.
Dalam amanatnya, Bupati Wajo H.Amran Mahmud mengakatakan bahwa kegiatan apel ini merupakan konsolidasi ulang dan simbol penegasan kembali bahwa TNI-Polri pantang menyerah memutuskan mata rantai penyebaran covid 19 di wilayah Kabupaten Wajo.
“Kami menghimbau agar seluruh petugas maupun masyarakat agar jangan menyerah untuk terus menyuarakan pencegahan penyebaran covid-19 gunakan cara-cara yang cerdas dan bermanfaat,”pintah H. Amran Mahmud.
Selain itu itu, kegiatan ini merupakan evaluasi dan penegasan kepada masyarakat Kabupaten Wajo bahwa kita masih mampu memberikan bantuan dan keteladanan.
