“Saya mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada Bapak Presiden kami, Prabowo Subianto, yang telah memberikan waktu, bantuan, serta kepeduliannya terhadap warga Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah dan Sibolga,” ucap Zainal Arifin Tanjung, warga Perumahan Tolang Elok Permai, Kelurahan Aek Tolang, di posko pengungsian GOR Pandan, Tapanuli Tengah, Selasa (2/12).
Ia mengakui bahwa bantuan seperti makanan, obat-obatan, selimut, popok bayi, dan berbagai kebutuhan pengungsi terus berdatangan ke GOR Pandan yang kini dijadikan posko utama warga terdampak banjir dan longsor.
“Alhamdulillah, pemerintah menyediakan makan gratis di GOR Pandan. Kita di sini mendapat makanan gratis agar kesehatan tubuh kita tetap terjaga. Alhamdulillah, artinya ada perhatian pemerintah untuk kita,” tambahnya.
Kendati demikian, Zainal berharap pemerintah mempercepat pemulihan pascabencana, khususnya di Sibolga dan Tapanuli Tengah. Ia khawatir jika kondisi tidak segera dipulihkan, akan muncul masalah sosial baru di masyarakat.
“Jadi kondisi ini tolonglah dipercepat normalisasinya,” tutupnya.
Hingga siang tadi, bantuan untuk korban banjir dan longsor terus disalurkan ke Tapanuli Tengah melalui jalur udara dari Lapangan Udara Silangit. Ada tujuh unit helikopter yang dikerahkan di Lanud Silangit: dua heli Bell 412 milik TNI AD, satu heli Mi-17 pas88 milik TNI AD, dan empat helikopter milik BNPB.
